Parents and young learners met with local authors, read books and mastered new reading strategies at the 17th Annual Family Learning Conference hosted by LaFetra College of Education on Saturday in Sneaky Park. Members from Housing and Residence Life, students and resident assistants joined together at the Vista La Verne Lounge on April 26. They wrote thank you cards and created goodie bags for the cleaning crew, resident advisors and residence life coordinators.

In honor of National Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, the Armenian Law Society and Armenian Club at the University of La Verne hosted an event to observe the Armenian Genocide on Monday in front of Founders Hall. 
The event welcomed students and participants to paint the Rock at 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., After the Rock painting, guest speakers shared their stories relating to the Armenian Genocide.
